Shadow Of The Tomb Raider Outfit Pack 10

Okay, let's talk Shadow of the Tomb Raider outfits. We all love dressing up Lara, right? It's like a virtual Barbie, but with more tombs and fewer Malibu houses.
Now, there are tons of outfit packs. And I'm here to address the elephant in the room, the slightly awkward cousin at the party: Outfit Pack 10.
Am I the Only One Who...?
...Thinks some of these outfits are… underwhelming? I know, I know! Sacrilege! But hear me out.
Must Read
We've seen Lara rock everything from classic tank tops to cool tactical gear. We've seen her in jungle camouflage and raiding tombs in style. But some of Outfit Pack 10 feels... like they didn't quite know what they were going for.
One outfit, in particular, I won't name names, feels like Lara borrowed it from a local craft fair after a particularly rough spelunking trip. Did a llama spit on the design inspiration? Maybe? Just kidding (mostly).
Seriously though, doesn't some of this feel... generic? Like something you'd find in a bargain bin at a virtual adventurer's supply store?

"But they add to the realism!" someone screams from the back.
Realism is great. But let's be honest. We're playing a game where a woman survives falls that would paste a normal human onto the rocks. A little bit of fashion flair never hurt anyone!
Where's the Sparkle? (Literally, I'm Not Asking for Sparkle)
I get it. Sometimes you need practical gear. You need something that blends in. But sometimes, you just want Lara to look like she's actually enjoying her world-saving adventure. Is that so wrong?
Maybe I'm just spoiled. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider had a lot of amazing outfits! We got cool variations on her classic looks. We saw some truly unique and awesome designs. It's a high bar. Maybe Outfit Pack 10 just didn't quite clear it.

And hey, maybe you love these outfits. Maybe you're rocking that "slightly-too-brown-for-its-own-good" tunic right now. That's cool! Different strokes for different folks. (Especially folks who are good at tomb raiding.)
But I can't help feeling like some of these outfits are... well, a bit beige. They lack that special something that makes Lara, Lara. The grit, the determination, the... slight fashion sense.
Give me some salvaged armor! Give me some tribal markings! Give me something that screams, "I just wrestled a jaguar and all I got was this awesome outfit!"

I just think, with all the amazing creativity that went into the game, some of the designs for Outfit Pack 10 were a missed opportunity.
It's All Love, Though!
Don't get me wrong. I still love Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I think it's a fantastic game. And even if I'm not a huge fan of every single outfit, the fact that we even have so many options is pretty awesome.
And let's be honest, even in the most questionable outfit, Lara Croft is still a total badass. She's still leaping across chasms and solving ancient puzzles. She's still saving the world, one tomb at a time.

So, maybe I'll just stick to my tried-and-true favorites. The ones that make me feel like I'm really embodying the spirit of the ultimate adventurer. But hey, if you're rocking Outfit Pack 10 and loving it, more power to you!
Just promise me you won't wear that particular tunic to dinner. Unless, of course, we're having llama.
What's your take? Am I completely off base? Let me know in the comments!
