How To Make An Australian Flag Banner In Minecraft

Okay, listen up, fellow Minecraft adventurers! Let's get one thing straight. Making things in Minecraft is addictive.
And sometimes, you just gotta show off your love for a particular...place. Let’s dive into recreating a certain iconic flag, block by block.
Gather Your Supplies
First things first: you need a loom. Don't have one? Craft one! It’s surprisingly easy. You also need a banner, obviously.
Must Read
Grab a blue banner. Essential, trust me. We’re going for that Aussie sky color. Also you need dyes.
Specifically: white and red dyes. Don't ask why yet. Just trust the process.
The Base: Blue Banner Bonanza
Slap that blue banner into your loom. See? We're already making progress. Feels good, right?
Next, we're adding a white stripe. Pick the one that covers the top left corner in a simple cross. It's important!
Apply that dye to the banner. Now you have a white corner. Fantastic!

Crafting the Union Jack
Time for more white. We need to make a diagonal line going from top right corner to the bottom left corner.
Apply the dye! Now it's looking a little like something. Maybe. Almost!
Next up: another white stripe! This time, it needs to go from the top to the bottom in the middle. Use the corresponding pattern in the loom.
Use your white dye. Slap that dye on the banner. Boom! You are getting closer.
Now, for the red. Red is next! We need to fill in the diagonals with red.

Find the correct diagonal patterns in the loom. Do it! You got this!
Apply the red dye. Now your little Union Jack is taking shape. I think it's neat.
The Stars of the South
Next, you'll need some white dye AGAIN. Sorry, but you have to. I am sure you have a bone meal farm by now.
We are creating those Southern Cross stars. Get the white circle dye. This is for the big star. It's gonna be awesome.
Apply the white circle to the banner. Perfect. That's one star down. Easy, right?

For the smaller stars, you will want to use the small white dot dye. Apply a couple to the bottom right of the banner.
Try to apply to the banner carefully. Not too many! The smaller ones should be at the bottom.
The Commonwealth Star
Okay, almost there. We need that other big star. The Commonwealth Star.
Apply another white circle, but this time near the middle on the left side. It needs to be separate from the Union Jack. It's important.
Apply the white circle to the banner. Hooray! We're basically done. Almost.

Display Your Masterpiece
Now take that banner out of the loom. Look at it! Bask in its blocky glory. You made an Australian flag banner!
Place it proudly on your base. Or above your bed. Or even on your pet pig. (Okay, maybe not the pig.)
Congratulations! You've successfully (and maybe slightly clumsily) created a blocky ode to down under. Go you!
And honestly, wasn't that a little bit fun? I mean, recreating national symbols in a video game? It's peak geek chic.
So, go forth and decorate! Let your Minecraft world reflect your (perhaps slightly blocky) patriotism. Enjoy!
Feel free to experiment with different shades of blue, too. Maybe your Australia has a slightly different sky. It's Minecraft! Anything's possible!
