If you're relocating villagers, remember to treat them with the respect they deserve. Think of them as VIP guests. I personally like using minecarts, but a boat works well too. Just picture them enjoying the scenic route!

Step 2: The Lectern of Destiny
This is where the magic happens! You need a Lectern. This isn't just any old piece of furniture; it's the Cleric Villager's focus for his powers and training. It's his special desk where they will ponder the great magical mysteries of discounted Rotten Flesh.
Crafting a lectern is super simple: one slab of wood and four bookshelves. You can find bookshelves in villages or craft your own with books and wood. The placement of the lectern is key; put it somewhere accessible to your potential Cleric and watch closely!

The moment of truth! Place that Lectern down and keep your eyes peeled. Is your unemployed villager giving it the side-eye? Are they inching closer? If they are, you're in luck! Within moments, a magical transformation will occur. Literally. Sparks might not fly (although wouldn't that be cool?), but they will suddenly sport a fabulous purple robe. They’re no longer just a villager; they're a Cleric Villager!

Your Cleric Villager is now ready for business! Click on them and prepare to be amazed. You can now trade for things like Ender Pearls, Glowstone Dust, and Bottles o' Enchanting! Trading with villagers also makes them love you! The more you trade, the better the trades get!
Trading will give the Cleric experience points. Each time they level up, the available items for trade change. Be careful, because as the villager levels up, some of the older trades will disappear forever! Stock up on the things you want before your Cleric levels up!
Bonus Tip: Zombie Villager Conversions!
Feeling extra adventurous? You can convert a Zombie Villager into a regular villager, and then turn that villager into a Cleric Villager! It is a bit risky, but the rewards are worth it! You will need a Potion of Weakness and a Golden Apple. Throw the potion on the Zombie Villager, and then feed it the apple. The Zombie Villager will begin to shake, and you will have to keep it safe for a few minutes while it turns back to normal. Once the process is complete, it is just a matter of giving them a Lectern!
