How To Get To Azuremyst Isle Horde

The Problem: Why Can't I Just Swim?

First things first, let’s address the giant, scaly dragon in the room: Azuremyst Isle is on a completely different continent. Yeah, I know, bummer. And while you could theoretically swim... let's just say the fatigue meter and the hungry sharks are not in your favor. Think less Finding Nemo, more… instant watery grave. Not ideal, right?

So, swimming is out. But don't despair! There's always a way (especially when goblins are involved!).

The Solution: Boats, Baby!

Alright, so here's the deal: You're gonna need to catch a boat. Duh, right? But which boat? That's the million-gold question.

The key is Rut'theran Village, located in Darkshore (Kalimdor). Darkshore...remember that place? Probably not after Teldrassil went kablooey. But hey, it's still there (mostly!).

Step 1: Orgrimmar (Or Thunder Bluff - Your Choice!): Get yourself to your faction capital. Seems obvious, but hey, gotta start somewhere!

Avoid!), and the other (on the right-hand side if you're facing the water) goes to Azuremyst Isle! Check the dock to make sure a boat is there and heading to Azuremyst Isle. If not just wait, it usually doesn't take to long. Get on that boat, and BAM! You're on your way!

Things to Keep in Mind (Because Life Isn't Always Easy)

• Guardians of Rut'theran Village: Okay, this is crucial. Rut'theran Village is heavily guarded by Alliance NPCs. They will attack you on sight. Stealth is your friend here. If you don't have stealth, be prepared to fight (and probably die a lot). Maybe bring a friend or two? Misery loves company, and all that.
• Flight Master Discoveries: When you arrive on Azuremyst Isle, make sure you discover the flight master as soon as you safely can to make the journey back that much easier for future trips.
• Watch Out For Falling: A note of warning, be extremely cautious when walking through Rut'theran Village to the boat. Falling from the heights of the village can be a fast death!
• Don't Expect a Warm Welcome: Remember, you're infiltrating Alliance territory. Don't expect them to roll out the red carpet. Be prepared for resistance, and maybe a few angry whispers (or outright attacks) from players.
• Is it Worth It?: Honestly, that's up to you. Azuremyst Isle doesn't offer a whole lot for Horde players, beyond the sheer novelty of being there. But hey, bragging rights are worth something, right?
