How To Become A Judge In Bitlife

How To Become A Judge In Bitlife

Okay, picture this: my BitLife character, Brenda, was a total mess. Started as a delinquent, racked up a criminal record longer than my grocery list, and yet...one day, there she was, staring at me from behind a judge's bench. I nearly choked on my digital cereal! How in the world did that happen? It got me thinking, and after a lot of virtual lives and some serious trial and error (pun intended!), I think I've cracked the code. Wanna know how to become a Judge in BitLife? Buckle up!

The journey to becoming a judge in BitLife isn’t a walk in the park; you can't just randomly apply and expect a call back (unless you're really lucky, but let's be realistic here). It’s more like climbing a career ladder, but the ladder is made of law books and the steps are paved with years of schooling.

Step 1: Laying the Foundation - Education, Education, Education!

First things first: you need a solid education. Forget dropping out to become a famous musician (unless you’re just trying to have a laugh). You’re aiming for a prestigious career here! Make sure your character has high Smarts from the get-go. This will make your academic life a whole lot easier.

High school is a must. Get good grades, join clubs if you feel like it (it doesn't really affect your chances later on, but hey, role-playing!). Then, you absolutely need to go to university. Focus on getting a degree in Political Science. This degree is your golden ticket to the next stage.

Side Note: Don't skip the library! Regularly visiting the library boosts your Smarts stat, and believe me, you'll need all the brainpower you can get!

Step 2: Law School - Get Ready to Grind

After university, the real fun begins (or the real headache, depending on how you look at it): Law School. This is where things get serious. You must have a Political Science degree to even apply to Law School. If you tried majoring in, like, Art History, well…better luck in your next life!

Law School is expensive, so make sure you have enough money saved up (or a generous benefactor – thanks, virtual Dad!). Maintain good grades throughout your law school journey. This is crucial. Don't let Brenda's early delinquency be your guiding star here! You need to show you're a model citizen (at least on paper).

Pro Tip: Keep an eye on your character's happiness and health. Law School is stressful! Go to the gym, take vacations, meditate... whatever it takes to keep them from going completely bonkers. A stressed-out lawyer isn't a good lawyer.

Step 3: Climbing the Legal Ladder - It's a Marathon, Not a Sprint

Once you graduate from Law School, you’re not automatically a judge. Sorry to burst your bubble. You need to start as a junior lawyer. Look for jobs with titles like "Law Clerk" or "Junior Associate." Work hard, gain experience, and keep an eye out for promotions. Aim for roles like "Lawyer" or "Associate Attorney".

Experience is key. You'll need to work as a lawyer for several years before you can even think about becoming a judge. Promote when possible. Work hard in this occupation, so that you get promoted, but also, make sure your stats like happiness and health, are good.

Don't Forget: Keep your character's crime stats at ZERO! Any criminal history, especially after becoming a lawyer, will destroy your chances of becoming a judge faster than you can say "Objection!"

Step 4: Judge, Jury, and... You? - Applying for the Bench

After years of dedicated service in the legal field, the option to become a judge will eventually appear in the job listings. This is it! This is what you've been working towards! Apply immediately. There's no guarantee you'll get the job, but if you've followed all the steps above, your chances are pretty darn good.

If you don't get it the first time, don't despair! Keep working as a lawyer, keep those stats high, and try again in a year or two. Persistence is key. Like Brenda, one way or another, you'll get it.

And there you have it! The (slightly long-winded) guide to becoming a judge in BitLife. It takes time, dedication, and a whole lot of virtual studying, but trust me, seeing your character finally sitting on that bench, handing out justice (or sometimes, hilarious sentences), is totally worth it.

Now go forth and make BitLife a more legally sound place (or at least, try not to let your judges be as morally ambiguous as Brenda was in her youth!). Good luck!
