Okay, let's talk Fire Force. Cool anime, right? But some characters… well, let's just say not everyone gets the love they deserve. And sometimes, maybe, overrated is an understatement.
Shinra Kusakabe: More Like Shin-Boring?
Our main guy, Shinra. Smiles a lot. Fights fire with fire. He's got the Adolla Burst and the whole hero thing going on.
But is he that interesting? Hear me out. He's a good dude, sure. A bit predictable, though.

Funny? Yes. Annoying? Also yes. Sometimes, I just want him to take things seriously, even for a second!

He imagines his plasma blade is a legendary sword. Okay, cool. But does it actually make him a better fighter?
I'm not convinced. Sometimes, delusion isn't a superpower. Sorry, Arthur!
Maki Oze: The Underrated Queen
Finally, someone I can get behind! Maki is strong, smart, and doesn't take any nonsense.
She creates fire creatures, which is just awesome. Why isn't she the main character?
Witch, Gorilla, and Cute Fireballs? Yes, Please!
She's called a "witch" and a "gorilla" by the boys. She shuts them down with fire. It's glorious!
More Maki, please! She deserves all the screen time. Give the girl a raise!
Tamaki Kotatsu: Fan Service Overload
Okay, brace yourselves. Here comes the "unpopular" opinion that will get me cancelled. Tamaki is… annoying.
All that "lucky lecher" stuff? It feels so forced and unnecessary.
Can We Please Focus on Her Powers?
She has cool cat-like abilities. Let's see more of that and less of the accidental groping.
I'm not saying she's a bad character. Just that her potential is wasted. More action, less fan service!
Iris: Sweet, But…
Iris is the sweet nun who prays for everyone. She’s kind and supportive.
But does she actually do anything? Besides pray, of course. I appreciate her faith, but…
More Than Just Prayers, Please
She's often just a damsel in distress. I wish she had a more active role in the story.
Give Iris a weapon! Or some fire powers! Anything to make her more than just the "holy" one.
The Captains: Now We're Talking!
The Captains of the Fire Force are where it's at. Obi, Hinawa, and the others? They're all awesome!
They're experienced, strong, and have unique personalities. I'd watch a spin-off about them.
Real Leaders, Real Skills
They're not just powerful, they're also strategic. They know how to lead and inspire their teams.
