Or maybe your streaming service is glitching. Or you're traveling in a country where Doctor Who isn't readily available. Or maybe you just really, really, REALLY don't want to wait. The reasons are endless! And the temptation…oh, the temptation is stronger than a Weeping Angel's grip.

Now, I’m not suggesting you give in to that temptation. Absolutely not. The BBC needs our support! We want more Doctor Who, right? And the people who make the show deserve to be paid! This is just a thought experiment. A purely hypothetical exploration of the human condition.

But… (and this is a big but, bigger than the TARDIS interior)… let’s not pretend we don’t all understand. Let’s not pretend we haven’t all at least considered the dark side.

Episode 3: Worth the Risk?

Okay, setting aside the ethical minefield for a moment, let's talk about the episode itself. Remember the Sontarans being all… Sontaran-y? Remember the weird time shenanigans? Was it a classic? Was it a stinker? Honestly, opinions were divided.

Some people hailed it as a return to form. Others said it was… a bit of a mess. Personally, I thought it had its moments. The bit where the Doctor did that thing? Genius! And the cliffhanger? Chef's kiss!

But was it worth risking the wrath of the BBC legal team? Was it worth potentially unleashing a virus onto your computer that would turn it into a digital Cyberman? That’s a question only you can answer.

Here’s my unpopular opinion: Sometimes, the desire to experience Doctor Who overrides our better judgment. We’re all flawed. We all make mistakes. And sometimes, those mistakes involve questionable downloads.

Look, I’m not advocating piracy. I'm just saying… I get it. I understand the struggle. I see the temptation. And I’m not going to judge you if you’ve occasionally succumbed to the allure of the digital abyss.

But please, let's all try to be better. Let’s support the show. Let's wait patiently (or mostly patiently) for the official release. Because in the end, Doctor Who is worth waiting for. Even if it means avoiding the dreaded Torrent search for S13 E03. Right?
