Divine Arsenal Aa - Zeus - Sky Thunder

Okay, so you wanna talk about Zeus? Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder to give him his full, glorious title? Buckle up, buttercup, because this card is insane.
Seriously though, where do we even begin? He’s a Rank 12 XYZ Monster, yeah? But here’s the kicker: you don't actually NEED to do any crazy Rank 12 shenanigans to summon him. Isn't that wild?
Basically, if you Xyz Summon any Xyz Monster this turn, you can just slap Zeus on top of it. Any Xyz Monster. Let that sink in. You could Xyz Summon a measly little Rank 4, then bam, Zeus just drops in for a visit. Talk about an upgrade!
Must Read
Why is this so good? Well, for starters, he's a 3000 ATK body. Not bad, right? But the real power lies in his effect. Are you ready for this?
Once per turn, during your Main Phase or Battle Phase (get that, folks? Either phase!), you can detach 2 materials. And what does that get you? Well, brace yourself...

...you send ALL OTHER CARDS ON THE FIELD TO THE GY. That's right. Everything. Gone. Poof. Bye-bye. See ya never. Including your opponent's potentially devastating board, their backrow, even your own stuff if you're feeling particularly... thorough.
Think of it as the ultimate reset button. Need to clear the way for an OTK? Zeus is your guy. Facing down an insurmountable board? Zeus to the rescue! Did you accidentally over-extend? Zeus can fix it (probably).
But wait, there's more! (I feel like I'm hosting a cheesy infomercial, but it's true!). After he nukes everything, Zeus can attack directly. Yep. 3000 direct damage. Pretty neat, huh?

So, to recap, he's easy to summon, clears the entire board, and then delivers a hefty punch. What's not to love? (Besides maybe the fact that he’s basically a walking apocalypse.)
Of course, there are some downsides. He needs materials to activate his effect. And once he's used that effect, he's just a big body. Also, he’s vulnerable to things that negate monster effects or banish cards (duh!). So, you can’t just blindly summon him and expect to win every time. You gotta think about it.
Zeus: Strategy and Synergies
The beauty of Zeus is that he slots into so many different decks. Decks that can consistently Xyz Summon monsters, even if they aren't particularly powerful ones, can leverage him. Think of decks that can easily summon Rank 4s, like… well, a lot of them.

Here’s a thought: consider decks that can easily make Xyz monsters multiple times in a single turn. That way, you can detach materials from a weaker Xyz, then overlay into Zeus, and still have Xyz materials to detach for his effect. That's value right there!
One of the best ways to use him is to bait out your opponent's negations before summoning Zeus. Make them waste their Solemn Judgment on something less threatening, then drop the Zeus bomb when they're defenseless. Evil? Maybe. Effective? Absolutely.
Don't forget about protecting Zeus! Cards that protect him from destruction or effect negation can be incredibly valuable. Something as simple as a Forbidden Lance can make a huge difference. Keep him safe, and he'll reward you with board wipes galore.

Also, remember that Zeus only sends cards to the GY. If your opponent has cards that trigger when sent to the GY, you might be inadvertently helping them. So, pay attention to what you're up against! You don’t want to accidentally trigger a bunch of Crystron effects, do you?
Ultimately, Zeus is a game-changing card. He's powerful, versatile, and relatively easy to summon. He can single-handedly turn the tide of a duel and is a must-have for any serious Yu-Gi-Oh! player. Just… try not to feel too bad when you completely obliterate your opponent's carefully constructed board. (Okay, maybe feel a little bad. But not too much.)
So, next time you're building a deck, ask yourself: "Could I fit a Zeus in here?" The answer is probably yes. And trust me, you won't regret it.
