Okay, let's talk Battle Machine. We all know him. We all… tolerate him? Let's be honest, the little guy’s a bit of a love-hate relationship, isn't he?

He's supposed to be this powerful, game-changing hero for the Builder Base. But sometimes, I swear he’s more interested in admiring the scenery than actually, you know, battling.

The Eternal Walk of Doom

Ever watch your Battle Machine stroll leisurely towards a Crusher while a perfectly good Cannon Cart sits unguarded nearby? Yeah, me too. It’s like he's got a GPS that’s permanently set to "Most Painful Route."

And the targeting? Don't even get me started. It's like he picks targets by throwing a dart while blindfolded. A dart made of rubber. That bounces harmlessly off everything except the one building you don't want him to attack.

I think we've all experienced the frustration of watching our Battle Machine get absolutely obliterated by a Roaster, while completely ignoring the Double Cannon firing at him from point-blank range. It's moments like these where you question all your life choices, especially the ones that led you to investing so much time (and gems!) into the Builder Base.

The Electric Hammer... That Tickles

Then there’s the hammer. The Electric Hammer. Sounds terrifying, right? Should be smashing bases to smithereens. In reality? It feels like he's gently tapping buildings with a feather duster powered by a dying AA battery.

I'm not saying it's completely useless. It's…sort of…useful. Sometimes. Maybe. If the stars align, the moon is in the seventh house, and you’ve sacrificed a Goblin to the Clash gods.

But let's be real. Half the time, I think the buildings are more annoyed than damaged. They're probably like, "Oh, that's cute. You're trying to hurt me? Here, let me heal myself while you keep wacking".

The Ability... Wherefore Art Thou?

And his ability? The "Iron Fists." Sounds powerful, right? He gets enraged, hits harder, and gains some health. In theory, that is. In practice? It's more like a slightly angrier version of the Battle Machine with a minor case of the sniffles.

You activate it right as he's about to take a massive hit, hoping to turn the tide of battle. And...nothing. He still gets one-shotted. The only difference is that now he's slightly more angry about being one-shotted.

I suspect the "Iron Fists" ability actually just gives him a temporary boost in self-esteem. It's like he tells himself, "I'm gonna win this!" and then promptly gets crushed by a Crusher.

An Unpopular Opinion?

Here's where I might lose some of you. I think… I think the Battle Machine is secretly a comedian. He’s playing the long game. His whole purpose is to provide us with moments of absurd, unintentional humor.

He knows he’s not the strongest. He knows his targeting is atrocious. He knows his ability is… questionable. But he doesn’t care. He's out there, doing his best (or worst), just to make us laugh.

And you know what? Sometimes, it works. I can't help but chuckle when I see him waltz obliviously into a Giant Cannon blast. It's so ridiculous, it's almost endearing.

So next time you're watching your Battle Machine fail spectacularly, don't get too angry. Just remember he's probably doing it on purpose. He's a comedic genius, disguised as a poorly programmed robot. And maybe, just maybe, that's his true strength.
