Thank goodness for the "Forgot Password?" link. It’s basically my online banking lifeline.

I'm pretty sure I've single-handedly kept the "Forgot Password?" industry afloat.

Is it just me, or does that security question seem to get harder every time? "What was the name of your childhood pet?" Hmmm… was it Fluffy? Spot? Or that imaginary unicorn I named Kevin?

The Security Image - A Moment of Recognition?

Then there's the security image. "Is this really my chosen image? A blurry picture of a sunset from 2012?"

You're supposed to recognize it as a sign that you're on the real website. I usually just hope for the best.

Now, let's add two-factor authentication into the mix. We love the safety. But really? Entering a code sent to my phone every time?

Okay, unpopular opinion time: Banks, please make the login process a little less… stressful.

Maybe replace the password with a riddle. Or a series of interpretive dances. Anything but the current system!

Think about it: happy customers are more likely to stay with your bank! And less likely to accidentally lock themselves out of their accounts.
